Cape Town Carnival

The 4th annual Cape Town Carnival ignites the Mother City on Saturday 16 March 2013 at the Fan Walk, Somerset Road in Green Point.

This is one of those special days in the Mother City that excites and unites the community with a spectacular celebration showcasing art, music and dance. The Stadium Forecourt hosts band performances and stalls in the afternoon and then the Carnival parade kicks off at 19:00, culminating in a festive after party.

The Carnival will celebrate a truly South African expression of Music, Dance and Arts and educate and inform the world of the rich culture and history of South Africa.
